The drink-ordering operating system

The bar is packed.
The line is gone.

Guests order and pay from their phone. Bartenders work a live queue instead of a shouting crowd. Pickup is verified with a QR scan. You watch the whole night from one screen.

Where the night leaks money

Busy isn't the problem. Losing control of busy is.

On a packed night, demand isn't what fails — flow is. Four failure points show up in every high-volume venue.

Failure 01 / The line

Guests wait, then walk

Every minute in line is a drink not sold. The thirstiest customers give up first — and they take the round they were buying with them.

Failure 02 / The rail

Bartenders drown in noise

Shouted orders, no sequence, remakes and comps. Your fastest staff spend half their motion asking "who's next?"

Failure 03 / The handoff

Pickup turns into chaos

Drinks sit dying on the rail while the wrong hands reach for them. No verification means walked drinks and comped remakes.

Failure 04 / The office

Managers fly blind

You find out how the night went tomorrow. Which bar backed up, which SKU died, which hour bled — invisible until it's history.

One order, start to finish
Finding a venue in the DrinkLync app Cocktail menu in the DrinkLync app Checkout in the DrinkLync app Pickup QR code in the DrinkLync app Completed order in the DrinkLync app
STEP 01

Guests find your venue

They open DrinkLync, pick your venue and the bar they're standing at — rooftop, main floor, upper level. No app-store hunt mid-party: one download, every DrinkLync venue.

STEP 02

They order from your live menu

Your real menu, your prices, your 86s — updated the moment you change them. Guests build a round in seconds instead of shouting it across the bar.

STEP 03

They pay in the app

Card on file, tip included, receipt handled. No card behind the bar, no open tabs to chase at 2 a.m., no chargeback roulette.

STEP 04

A QR scan releases the drink

When the order is ready, the guest gets pinged and shows a code. Your gatekeeper scans it — right drink, right hands, every time. Walked drinks stop existing.

STEP 05

Done — and they order again

The whole loop takes minutes, not a night in line. Guests who don't wait order more rounds. That's the entire business case.

See it end to end

The whole flow, in one take.

Ninety seconds from a guest's first tap to the gatekeeper's handoff — the actual product, the actual screens.

Built for everyone behind the night

Four people run your Friday. All four win.

The same order moves through four sets of hands. DrinkLync gives each of them their own screen — and their own reason to love it.

Behind the bar

A queue you can work, and tips on every order.

  • Tickets in sequence, batched by roundNo shouted orders, no "who's next" — the queue routes to your station and stays in order.
  • Tipping is built into checkoutEvery order carries a default tip prompt — more orders through the bar means more tipped orders, automatically.
  • Exact specs on every ticketBulleit, orange peel, large cube — it's on the ticket. Remakes and comps stop eating your speed.
  • Three taps per drinkAccept, making, ready. The guest gets pinged the second you rack it — nothing dies on the rail.

At the pickup station

One scan settles every question.

  • Order, guest, and station verified at onceThe QR scan matches the drink to the person who paid for it. Wrong hands never touch the rail.
  • Zero confrontation"The app says it's not yours" ends the argument before it starts. The screen is the bad guy, not your staff.
  • Every handoff loggedTime, order, station — a clean record of the night. Disputes and comps get answered with data, not memory.
  • The rail stays cleanVerified pickup keeps ready drinks moving. No graveyard of melting cocktails at the end of the bar.

The system doesn't just record the night. It reads it.

FLOW ALERTS

Catches the backup before the crowd does

Lync watches queue depth and wait times across every station and flags pressure while there's still time to act on it.

"Rooftop wait just crossed 9 min — Station 3 is idle. Suggest opening it for the next hour."
DEMAND SIGNALS

Knows what Friday looks like before Friday

Order history becomes prep guidance: what to stock, what to batch, and which SKUs spike on game nights.

"Espresso Old Fashioned volume runs +38% on Fridays. Pre-batch 2 rails before 10 PM."
MENU INTELLIGENCE

Prices and menus that earn their keep

Velocity, margin, and rating per SKU — so the menu decision is a number, not a hunch.

"Your $14 Old Fashioned holds volume at $15 on Saturdays. That's ~$740/mo left on the table."
Ask it anything about your venue

Your data, in plain English. Just ask.

Lync is trained on your venue's own orders, waits, tips, and ratings. No dashboards to dig through — ask the question the way you'd ask your best manager, and get an answer with the numbers behind it.

  • Answers, not exports"Why was Saturday slow?" beats a CSV. Lync reads the night for you and shows its work.
  • Gets sharper every weekEvery order teaches it your venue: your peaks, your regulars' tastes, your staffing rhythm.
LYNC — VENUE INTELLIGENCE
Why did the rooftop back up around 11 last Friday?
LYNCOrders spiked +62% at 10:50 PM but Station 4 went offline for 22 minutes. Queue depth hit 31. Same pattern the previous two Fridays — staffing Station 4 from 10:30 would have held the wait under 5 minutes.
What should I 86 before tonight?
LYNCThe Smoked Paloma: 4 sold last Friday, slowest make time on the menu (3:40), and a 3.1★ rating. Swapping the slot for a batched Ranch Water frees roughly 26 minutes of bartender time at peak.

The operator math

The math is boring. That's the point.

$0.00gross profit per drink served
0drinks / month to cover Core — about 2–3 a night
0xreturn in a worked 4-station example
0%transaction fees. flat monthly, nothing per order

Assumes a $13 average drink at ~26% pour cost. Core at $699/month breaks even at roughly 73 incremental drinks a month — most venues clear that on the first Friday.

Run your own numbers

Your venue. Your math.

Slide to match your Friday. The only assumption we make is a ~26% pour cost — everything else is yours.

Your Friday, hour by hour

drinks served per hour — move the sliders and watch the peak
Today — the line clips your peak With DrinkLync — the peak gets served

The gray line is a typical busy night: demand climbs to a peak your bar can't pour fast enough, so the overflow walks. The green area is that overflow, served — your "extra drinks" land almost entirely in the two peak hours.

Net gain vs. how busy you get

monthly net after the $699 Core fee — the marker is your slider
$0extra tips per busy night — your bartenders keep it
0 minpeak wait, down from ~12 min in line
0 nightsbusy nights to cover the $500 setup

Tips assume the in-app default 18% on incremental orders. Peak wait compares a phone order against a 10–14 minute Friday line. Break-even on Core lands at roughly 73 incremental drinks a month — the dotted line.

The rating system — what's in it for the bar

Bad pours get caught at 11 PM, not on Google at 9 AM.

Guests rate every drink and every night inside the app. That feedback goes to you — privately, tied to the exact drink, station, and hour — while the guest is still in the building and the fix still counts.

  • Your public rating stays protectedComplaints route to your dashboard instead of a one-star review. Praise you can push public; problems you fix quietly.
  • Ratings feed the menu mathA 3-star drink with high volume is a recipe problem. Low volume and low stars — that slot is dead weight. Lync flags both.
  • Tonight's problem, found tonightThree low ratings from Station 2 in an hour is a training moment at midnight — not a mystery in next week's numbers.
  • Guest photos become your marketingGuests snap their drinks when they rate them. The best shots — real drinks, in your room, loved by real guests — land in your marketing portal as ready-to-post content.

Before you ask

The questions every operator asks.

How fast can we be live?
Days, not months. We build your venue — floors, bars, stations, full menu — before the pilot night, and your staff learns it in one shift briefing. Bartenders are working the queue by their second ticket.
Do we need new hardware or a new POS?
No new POS. Staff screens run on tablets or phones you likely already have (we can supply managed devices if you'd rather). DrinkLync runs alongside your existing register for walk-up orders — it takes the line, not your setup.
What does it actually cost — and what's the catch on fees?
Core is $699/month plus a $500 one-time setup, with two stations included — a yearly agreement with zero transaction fees and no revenue share; we never take a cut of a drink. The only add-ons are extra stations ($99/month) and Insights ($199/month, free for your first 30 days). Full details on the pricing page.
Do guests have to download an app?
Yes — once. One download covers every DrinkLync venue, so guests who've used it anywhere arrive at your bar already knowing how to order. Discovery works in your favor: your venue shows up for every DrinkLync user nearby.
How does payment work? Who holds the money?
Guests pay in-app by card at the moment they order — tip included. Money settles to your account through our payment processor; we don't sit on your revenue, and there are no per-order fees from us on top.
What happens if the internet drops mid-Friday?
Staff screens tolerate brief drops and re-sync when the connection returns, and your bar can always fall back to walk-up service — DrinkLync adds a lane, it doesn't remove one. We review your venue's connectivity during setup.
Whose data is it?
Yours. Your menu, your orders, your analytics. We use it to run your venue's dashboards and Lync insights — we don't sell it, and you can export it.
What's in it for my bartenders?
More tipped orders with less chaos. Every in-app order carries a default tip prompt, tickets arrive in sequence with exact specs (fewer remakes and comps), and the "who's next" argument disappears. Bartenders pour more and argue less — most staff resistance ends the first shift.
What's in it for the gatekeeper / pickup staff?
One scan settles every dispute. The QR match means the right guest gets the right drink every time — no confrontation, no walked drinks, and a timestamped log of every handoff so comps get answered with data instead of memory.
What do I get as the manager — beyond the money?
Visibility while you can still act on it: live throughput, waits, and tips per station all night, the morning-after report every day, private guest ratings tied to the exact drink and hour, and — with Insights — per-bartender, per-drink, and per-bar breakdowns plus Lync's recommendations on pricing, prep, and staffing.
Will my guests actually like this?
Guests get the night without the line: order from anywhere, watch the drink happen, get pinged, walk up, scan, done. Plus favorites, one-tap reorders, sending drinks to friends, and discovery of your venue by every DrinkLync user nearby. Guests who don't wait order more rounds — that's your upside too.
What does a pilot commit us to?
One normal night on the system. We set everything up, you run a Friday, and you read the morning-after numbers. If the night didn't run smoother, we'd rather hear why than lock you in.
Ready when you are

Run one pilot night.
Watch the line disappear.

We set up your menu, stations, and staff screens. You run a normal Friday. The numbers do the rest.
