Where the lift lands

Drinks per hour on a busy night. The two peak hours are the only hours the estimate touches: that is where the rail is the bottleneck, and where order-ahead removes the order-taking step.

Tonight at the rail

From your inputs
Peak-hour pour today, all bartenders120 / hr
Wait at the rail today12 min
Wait at the rail for an order-ahead guest0 min
Peak-hour pour with the assumed lift, estimate144 / hr

The guest walks up when the drink is ready, not before. The bartender pours instead of taking orders.

What this page assumes

  1. The lift is an assumption, not a measurement. Order-ahead removes the order-taking step at the rail, so a bartender pours more of the hour. The default is 20% more drinks per bartender-hour during the peak two hours, adjustable from 10% to 35%. It applies to nothing outside those two hours.
  2. Pour cost defaults to 26% and margin per drink is price minus pour cost. Change it to yours.
  3. A month is 4.33 weeks. Extra drinks per month = extra drinks per night, times nights open, times 4.33.
  4. Stations beyond the first bill $99 a month each. Setup for extra stations is waived when they are part of your initial $500 setup. Insights is $199 a month with the first 30 days free, so year one counts eleven months of it.
  5. DrinkLync has not measured your bar. A pilot on your own Friday replaces every number on this page with a real one.

Every dollar figure on this page is an estimate computed from the sliders above. Guests pay nothing to DrinkLync; nothing here is a guest-side benefit. See the full price list or request a pilot and run the real thing.
